Hey Hangyul,

You're close. But remember, variable names cannot start with a decimal value. Instead, give it a meaningful name such as laps. Now, we'll want to modify the method body to reflect this parameter. In this case, you'll want to make lapsDriven plus equals to laps and barCount minus equals to laps.

public void drive(int laps) {
    lapsDriven+=laps;
    barCount-=laps;
}

Thanks Jacob! But my question was how to pass in a 1? Do you have ideas?

Hi there...

You need to modify the other drive method:

public void drive(int 1){//<-- this is not how you pass integer
}

You need to use the method overloading principle taught by Craig before this challenge. You can use it to create anothe drive method and called the earlier drive method that has integer to pass on. This is how I do that:

public void drive(){
     drive(1);
}
