Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font weight and an italic font style.

I've tried a lot of different things but i just keep getting

Bummer! Make sure you're selecting the intro class, and setting an em font-size value equal to 20px

i know the font-size value is correct so its got to be the

The problem is the challenge wants two rules, one for the intro class and one for the span inside the intro class. With the code that you currently have you only have the rule for the span inside the intro class and have combined the challenges into one class.

All you need to do is recreate your rule the intro class and cut and paste your line-height and font-size properties into it, like this:

.intro{
  font-size: 1.25em; 
  line-height: 1.6;
}
.intro span{
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;

and i did not work, am I missing something?

Tried it too. Still doesn't work
