I can't figure the answer to the Code Challange question: Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font weight and an italic font style.

To target an element inside another element, you simply seperate them with a space. First comes the parent, in this case .intro, then the child, which is your span in this task. So what they ask for in this case should be something like that:

.intro span{              
font-weight: bold;
font-style: italic;

Hi Valerie, Thanks for your answer. It worked. I understand the answer as per the 'style.css' file as a standalone. My problem still is I don't understand the connection of this question to the main 'index.html' file that is provided in the Code Challenge.
