Hi Sean,

Close, the challenge is looking for the value white, not #ffffff even though this is hex for white.

You are also missing a semi colon after orange.

header {
    background-color: orange;
    color: white
}

Hope that helps

Kieran, you forgot a semicolon after "white"

Hi Bryce,

The last selector in a block doesn't require a semicolon, although it certainly is good practice to add one. :smiley:

Thanks Bryce for the reply you must have to use a semi colon when you use more then one property when you use only one property i didn't need one for the challenge one and two .

Wow, I didn't know that! It doesn't cause validation problems at all?

No validation issues, the semi colon kind of signifies "hey this is the end of this attribute/value pair get ready for the next", so if there is only one pair or the last pair on the block doesn't need one.

It is always good practise to put one in though, as it is annoying if you add another rule and you forget to add one to the line before.
