CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Selectors Type Selectors

create a new type selector that target div element add background color:lightblue

make sure you're targeting div element. see below the it didn't work

Your div element tag contains 2 classes you just need one. leave the primary-content and take out the background class.

Just to point out so you can learn more with your mistakes. Your css you're calling one class not 2 classes.

here look:

.primary-content background{
  background-color:lightblue;
}

To call more then one class you need to do like this:

.primary-content
.background {
  background-color:lightblue;
}

Now your css should look like this:

.primary-content {
  background-color:lightblue;
}

Take background out of the html tag and css. html should be; <div class="primary-content"> css should be; .primary-content { background-color: lightblue; }
