creating a method

my method is missing something

racecar.py 
class RaceCar:
    laps= 0
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)
    def run_lap(self, length):
        laps += 1 
        fuel_remaining - (int(length) * 0.125)

I am going to assume this is for task 2. In your run_lap() method, on the second line, you added the subtraction operator but forgot to make it equal to that using -=. Next, we're effecting variable values within our class so we use self to referencing those variables.

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.laps += 1 
        self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125
