The first thing you have to do is declare a variable named firstname but camelCased.
See the capital N in firstname, example lastname will then be lastName String firstName
You add the console.readLine to the firstName and you are done like this: String firstName = console.readLine("enter your firstname : "); The value you enter in the console will be stored in firstName.
