You're on the right track. There are just a couple of things going wrong.

  1. The instruction ask to display the list items that are inside .mainlist. Your CSS is only selecting the .mainlist and not the list items inside. If you just add the li to what you have, it will be right.
  2. The other part of the instructions say to list them side by side. Using block will list them one on top of the other (You can see this in the preview window in the challenge). You need to use a block element that will list side-by-side, so inline-block.
