11,850 PointsYes! Having finished this course, I learned more about Django from troubleshooting version differences than I would have if I'd taken a course on a newer version. It will require patience, but you'll learn from it. The differences between Django 1.x and 2.x are there, but they aren't particularly difficult to solve. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, Django 1.11 supports Python 2.7 while 2.x doesn't. Both Django 1.11 and Python 2.7 are going to be around for at least the next few years, and many Django jobs out there right now and for years to come will involve updating Django from 1.x to 2.x (or 3.x in a few years).
