Do you need any experience of databases prior to the SQL course?

Hi. It's nice to see that Team Treehouse has added a new course and a new subject. I'm just wondering whether previous exposure to databases is needed before taking the SQL course.

Sean, I just finished the first half of the SQL courses that are available at this moment. Andrew does a wonderful job teaching the ways through SQL. I have dealt with some SQL in the past but had trouble remembering the keywords after going back to it. As Edward said, they do a wonderful job refreshing and exposing it so you can remember it down the road. But no experience needed and you'll get the hang of it right away!

Just finished the course and was only ever exposed to SELECT * FROM years ago. The course seems to repeat questions a few times logically, but it helps to memorize everything even by the end of the course.

I actually tend to go back to previous videos to refresh on what I learned in other courses. But this course was actually pretty straightforward without making your head hurt too much. hah!
