Python Object-Oriented Python Instant Objects Master Class

Dont know how the laps and length work in this method question.

''OK, now let's add a method named run_lap. It'll take a length argument. It should reduce the fuel_remaining attribute by length multiplied by 0.125.

Oh, and add a laps attribute to the class, set to 0, and increment it each time the run_lap method is called'' Dont know where to go from here

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)
    def run_lap(self,length, laps):

        return fuel_remaining * 2

The laps would need to be set to 0 when you initialize the car, so they should be in the constructor.

when you run a lap, it should also add a lap to this number.

How do i set the laps to 0? and when i run the lap how do i add a lap to this number

def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.laps = 0

...

def run_lap(self, length):
     self.laps += 1

your run_lap function should be changed a little as well.
