Don't know what I'm doing wrong, instructions are unclear

I don't understand the instructions

The first two lines of your code is correct, but in the second 2 you've got the syntax wrong:

String firstName = console.readLine("What is your first name?");
String lastName = console.readLine("What is your last name?");

console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);
console.printf("Last name: %s", lastName);

Console.print() prints whatever is in the brackets.

Everything inside the quotes is printed as a string, except %s.

%s stands for a pre-defined string variable that you want the console to print out within the string.

Note the syntax for integrating a pre-defined string variable.
