Education

What should I do when my entire education is centered completely out of the tech industry, in areas such as Philosophy or Sociology or Music? Should I still list these degrees on my resume or no?

I would say definitely list them, just add them at the bottom. When I create my resume, I try to put myself in the position of the hiring manager. What information would I want to know first? Relevant experience (jobs, projects, education) in the industry then other relevant experience toward the bottom. I was a teacher (elementary education) and now I'm a software developer so it's based on my experience changing industries and being in kind of the same place.

Great! Thank you for the advice!

As somebody who currently has their degree in Elementary Education, and working towards Web Development. This is INCREDIBLY sobering to hear! :)
