CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Em and Rem Units

Em Values

The question is:

"Create a new rule that targets the h2. The h2's parent element has a font-size value of 16px. Use an em unit to give the h2 a font-size value equivalent to 53px."

In order to calculate the em value for h2, I divided 53px by 16px and got 3.3125em.

Therefore, my code is

h2 { font-size: 3.3125em; }

However, I'm told this is incorrect.

Please tell me where I'm going wrong.

  font-size: 1.8em;
}

.title {

it looks like from the code you have that you are targeting the h1 not h2. The h1 needs to be in rems and then set the h2 font-size.

Adrian Delgado, the CSS code should have the h2 selector.

So it would look like this:

h2 { font-size: 3.3125em; }

I was changing the 'h1' value but needed to write a whole new declaration block with 'h2' as the selector.
