Email flyer with solid backgrounds? What code and where would I put it? Would it hurt my spam assassin rating?

I guess the title says it all.

Since I started this part of my lesson, I went over to W3schools and picked up two great codes: bgcolor="#??????" and vspace="10" -- I put the bgcolor attribute in my table and the vspace in my image codes. So after much bouncing around from Treehouse, W3school, and the ability to see the page after its built (I'm using Sublime Text) I actually got my email flyer built in code. Now onto styling it!

Making an html email flyer is the framework guide line for merging with the technology of the mail client the customer has chosen to do the email blast delivery. I found that some companies provide an ''editor'' as well as ''html access'' and with both these tools I'm able to conquer some of the visual answers I'm seeking.

I'm talking to myself and now Treehouse wants me to rate me. Maybe they will make a Badge video ....

Haha. Trying to figure out how to create a simple yet elegant html / css formatted email template for work myself. Not the simplest. Ah I see in the convenient box on the right, there is a course for html email design... here goes.

Joel, I thought the course was good background, but very complicated. I ended up buying Coffee Cup Software's simple responsive design program "RED" and it works really well. But for me, taking the course first allowed me to understand what this program was doing. So it all worked out. I've been designing direct email flyers (www.emailblastflyer.com) since 2005 and they have always been a little tricky to do.
