Treehouse TeacherHi there, Olivia Urry! You are not meant to alter the HTML in any way. It is there for your reference. It wants you to select the span element inside the header element. Your font-size rule is fine, but you're missing the selector.
Let me give a similar example. To make the color of all <h1>
tags that are inside a <div>
blue, I could do this:
div h1 {
color: blue;
}
I think you can get the answer with this hint, but let me know if you're still stuck!

Treehouse TeacherOlivia Urry Ok then, sorry my hint didn't work. Let's try an answer with an explanation:
The first word
header
is the element we're selecting. The second wordspan
is any<span>
element that resides inside the<header>
element. This is the original HTML in question:This means, that the text between the
<span></span>
tags will now have a font-size of 26px, but everything else will remain unchanged.
