Filtering By Dates in SQL Basics

Trying to run this query for the Filtering By Dates objective and keep getting a syntax error. Have tried a bunch of different things. Can anyone lend a hand?

SELECT * FROM results WHERE away_team = "Hessle" AND played_on>== "2015-10-01";

SQL Error: near "=": syntax error

Thanks!

It looks like you may have an extra "=" when comparing played_on to "2015-10-01".

That was it. Thank you, sir!
