I need to create a dictionary then use @marshall_with to complete the challenge. Just not sure where my error is.
from flask import Blueprint
from flask.ext.restful import (
Resource, Api, reqparse, inputs,
marshal, marshal_with, fields
)
import models
ingredient_fields{
'name': field.String,
'description': field.String,
'measurement_type' = field.String,
'quantity' = field.Float,
'recipe' = field.String
}

def __init__(self):
self.reqparse = reqparse.RequestParser()
self.reqparse.add_argument(

20,315 PointsI have no clue what is going on in your dictionary but here's mine:
ingredient_fields{
'name': field.String,
'description': field.String,
'measurement_type' = field.String,
'quantity' = field.Float,
'recipe' = field.String
}
Yours isn't consistent and you also used field.String
instead of fields
, and you forgot the =
at the start!
The lesson here is KISS (keep it simple stupid), sometimes just scrapping what you have and rewriting it can solve the issue, sometimes you need to delve deep. Don't start at the bottom and work up, start with the simplest solutions and mistakes and verify it's nothing simple like a missing operator or a typo. Once you know its nothing like that, then delve into the more complex potential problems.
Hope this helps!
