1,051 Pointsfrogs n logs movement script not working and there are no errors or warnings.
I have also restarted the applications to refresh them hoping it was just a glitch but it didn't work. I will post the script that I followed to the mark in the video hopefully someone can spot something out of place. I have checked curly braces for all and they match up as well. I am using visual studio 2015 and I have also saved the work in both applications.
using UnityEngine; using System.Collections;
public class PlayerMovement : MonoBehaviour {
private Animator playerAnimator;
private float moveHorizontal;
private float moveVertical;
private Vector3 movement;
// Use this for initialization
void Start() {
playerAnimator = GetComponent<Animator> ();
}
// Update is called once per frame
void Update() {
moveHorizontal = Input.GetAxisRaw("Horizontal");
moveVertical = Input.GetAxisRaw("Vertical");
movement = new Vector3 (moveHorizontal, 0.0f, moveVertical);
}
void FixedUpdate() {
if (movement != Vector3.zero) {
playerAnimator.SetFloat("Speed", 3f);
} else {
playerAnimator.SetFloat("Speed", 0f);
}
}
}
