Great now that you have created your new square method, let's put it to use. Under the function definition, call your

squaring.py 
 def square (number):
     return number * number
     result = result square = and_pass_it_3 
     print (result)

Hi Jessie

Just to modify your code a bit...

def square (number):
    return number * number

result = square(3)

On the last line we create a new variable 'result' and store the value from the function call 'square(3)'.
