g.user._get_current_object() vs current_user

Hello,

Could someone explain in greater detail why we have to use g.user._get_current_object() instead of current_user? I've noticed that current_user is an instance of werkzeug.local.LocalProxy not models.User class.

Regards

That's exactly it. We want the actual object, not a proxy to the object. Peewee doesn't seem to play nicely with proxies.
