Python Dates and Times in Python (2014) Dates and Times Timedelta Minute

Having difficulty with the Timedelta Minute challenge...

The challenge: "Write a function named minutes that takes two datetimes and, using timedelta.total_seconds() to get the number of seconds, returns the number of minutes, rounded, between them. The first will always be older and the second newer. You'll need to subtract the first from the second."

I just don't understand how to get what is being asked for in this challenge. The videos didn't seem to address this, or at least not as far as I can understand. This is what I came up with but it doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

def minutes(datetime_one, datetime_two):
    datetime_one = timedelta(seconds=4567)
    datetime_two = timedelta(seconds=90420)
    minutes = round((datetime_two - datetime_one)/60)
    return minutes
