having trouble with a question make sure to call printf

Using the console's printf method, display a message that says, "Last name: " followed by the last name that the user has entered. this the code I have written for the question String firstName= console.readLine("firstname is "); String lastName= console.readLine("lastname is "); console.printf("firstname %s Last name: %s", firstName, lastName);

IO.java
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName= console.readLine("firstname is ");
String lastName= console.readLine("lastname is ");
console.printf("firstname  %s Last name: %s", firstName, lastName);

"followed by" is ambiguous. What they meant is in as separate statement:

String firstName= console.readLine("firstname is ");
String lastName= console.readLine("lastname is ");
console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);
console.printf("Last name: %s", lastName);

But you also need to be very careful, as the editor is quite picky. For example, if it says "First name", it probably means it and may reject "first name" (sometimes, but not always - so it pays to be careful).
