4,247 PointsHello. I am having an extremely difficult time. I have been working on a simple one page site for over a month
I can't seem to figure out the best practice for doing it. I am trying to follow along with the first tutorial, Building a Website. My page only has a single image that I want to put as the background. The problem is it repeats all over the page. When I use no-repeat, it disappears entirely. I then use a different image but it only takes up part of the page, and is off to the left. I am so confused and concerned because I want everything to scale to mobile size screen AND look good on desktops etc but i'm not sure which examples I should use. Do I follow Nick's way? Or Guil's way? Nick doesn't explaing sticky footer, but Guil does, but for some reason it doesn't work for me. Do i layout the page using only divs? Do I use flexbox for everything. I look at the other tutorials that follow and try to integrate some of that but basically I have to re-write the entire site to make the changes successful, but then other things are screwed up. I can't make it fit and it's only a simple page. I blew off JS because it's only distracting me at this point. I want to finish all the HTML and CSS stuff first. Is there anyone who has had this same issue? Can anyone throw me a bone here. I am totally lost and I don't want to quit but man I am super frustrated.

9,003 PointsTry putting your code so others can see where to correct. If youre done with the CSS basics, i suggest check the content of bootstrap.
