i thinks this challenge has a bug

Textareas are form inputs that need to have a closing </textarea> tag, unlike a standard input tag would need to be.

In the case of this quiz, that's what it wants. In the real world your button still wouldn't work, but that's not why the quiz is failing.

Just FYI, the final step of the quiz will have you put attributes on your button.

The challenge isn't bugged. That submit button won't do anything.
