Don't know how to go about this, can somebody walk me through it?
Add a new view at /today that shows the current user's lunch order for today. It should render the "today.html" template. Don't worry about editing the template yet. Since this is about the current user, login should be required.
{% extends "layout.html" %}
{% block content %}
<h1>Your lunch for today</h1>
<p><!-- print today's lunch order --></p>
{% endblock %}

5,465 PointsThe basic concept here is to access the database through the class LunchOrder. a very simplified version of the answer is below, which passes the test. Be careful to keep this consistent going forward to the next challenge. Keep in mind that get() selects a single instantiation of the LunchOrder class, so if you were to code on the html template, you could directly access its data using {{ user.date.strftime }} or {{ user.order }}, but if you were to use select(), then you would have to access the data through a list.
@app.route('/today')
@login_required
def today():
user = models.LunchOrder.get(models.LunchOrder.user == g.user._get_current_object())
return render_template('today.html',user=user)

11,359 PointsInteresting, but Devin used get() at the ending of the query. That would still return a single instantiation of the LunchOrder class. Therefore it should still be possible to access the data directly once passed into the html template.
