How are these two functions different?

def is_odd(number): number % 2 != 0 print("True")

def is_odd(number): number % 2 != 0 return True

the first one works and can bypass 1 % 2 but for the second function it says there is an error with number = 1

Hi Edward! Your problem lies in the structure of your code. You need to put number % 2 != 0 in a IF Statement and have your print("True") OR return True inside that IF Statement. Happy coding!!
