Just want to copy and paste code like the instructors inside of the repl

Are you by chance using an internationally setting on your keyboard when this happens? We are looking into support for non-US keyboards for the future, but for now you will need to add a US keyboard layout to your system and use that while using Workspaces. This should help resolve that issue.
