CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Styling the Intro Paragraph

How do I give the font-size property an em value equivalent to 20px if the parent font is 16px?

I selected the intro class and set the value of the font-size to 1.25em. I thought this would be equivalent to 20px if the parent font value is 16px. The following is the code I wrote: .intro { font-size: 1.25em; }

I am using this in a code challenge, and it doesn't accept my code.

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header id="top" class="main-header">
      <span class="title">Journey Through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
      <h1>Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    </header>
    <div class="primary-content t-border">
      <p class="intro">
        Lake Tahoe is one of the most <span>breathtaking attractions</span> located in California. It's home to a number of ski resorts, summer outdoor recreation, and tourist attractions. Snow and skiing are a significant part of the area's reputation.
      </p>
      <a href="#more">Find out more</a>
    </div>
    <footer class="main-footer">
      <p>All rights reserved to the state of <a href="#">California</a>.</p>
      <a href="#top">Back to top &raquo;</a>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

It looks like you altered the CSS file comment.

It appears that you removed the slash (/) character that begins the comment on the first line of the CSS file. With that missing, the line creates a syntax error instead of serving as a comment. Replace that slash and you should pass.

Thanks! it works now.
