i get a compiler error because i don't know were the lenght is stored and in what type. I have to return a double.
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
class FrogStats
{
public static double GetAverageTongueLength(Frog[] frogs)
{
double totalLength=0.0;
for (int i = 0; i<frogs.Length; i++)
{
Frog frog = frog [i]
totalLength += frog;
}
return totalLength/System.Convert.ToDouble(frogs.Length);
}
}
}
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
public class Frog

public int TongueLength { get; }
public Frog(int tongueLength)

9,864 PointsFixed it, posting the question, I saw the other class.
class FrogStats
{
public static double GetAverageTongueLength(Frog[] frogs)
{
int totalLength=0;
for (int i = 0; i<frogs.Length; i++)
{
Frog frog = frogs [i];
totalLength += frog.TongueLength;
}
return System.Convert.ToDouble(totalLength/frogs.Length);
}
}
public class Frog
{
public int TongueLength { get; }
public Frog(int tongueLength)
{
TongueLength = tongueLength;
}
}
