1,493 PointsHow do I select the span element that is nested inside 'intro'?
I can change the look of the span using a new .class, but I can't seem to pass the quiz ๐
Can you look at my CSS and see where I have made a mistake? Thank you!

5,415 PointsHey Elizabeth McCowan , what you are doing is also correct . But in the quiz you have to use the descendent selectors
.
This is how you select any element inside a class :
.intro span{
font-weight: bold;
font-style: italic;
}
This descendant selector will match all span elements(although there is only one) which are under the .intro
class, because each of those elements has a .intro
element as its ancestor.
Hope it helped :)
All the best
