You can use CSS to refer to a tag using just it's name, instead of re-writing the HTML markup. Keep in mind the "DRY" principle, don't repeat yourself, which can be applied to every aspect of coding/programming. Your code should look like this: 

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style : italic;
  font-size : 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}
