How does the program know that 'q' is for quit?

Afternoon,

I'm confused to how entering 'q' as the users choice actually quits the program. It's not linking to any functions like 'add' or 'view'.

Hope someone can explain.

Thanks,

The reason ‘q’ ends the program is because it causes the condition for the while loop to evaluate to False. The while loop is checking whether the value entered doesn’t equal ‘q’.
