How many treehouse points on avg does one have, is enough to get a job?

Just want to set daily and weekly goals for myself. I thought the point system is a good start to measure my work input.

Hi Erick,

I don't think it's possible to connect an average amount of points to (the possibility of) getting a job.

Assuming you're an absolute beginner to coding it's better to focus on learning the basics and completing the Front-End Development track (basically HTML, CSS and a bit of Javascript). While you're working on that track try to apply what you have learned on real world projects. Code a portfolio website for yourself, an online shop for a friend or a crazy experimental website. Make sure that you have things to show and stories to tell to your future employer. Check out the business and design tracks as well. Front-End Developers with some basic grasp of the importance of good design and doing business are highly valued.

The more experience you have, and the more comfortable you are in what you do (and can do), the easier it'll be to find a job.

Hope it helps, Max

Thank you, Max. I just set up GitHub pages and will create a portfolio page.
