How to solve this problem?

I don't know how to increment 'laps' attribute everytime when we call the method. And it kept telling me to set 'laps' attribute to zero. what's wrong ?

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    def __init__(self,color,fuel_remaining,**kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        for key , value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)
    def run_lap(self, length, laps=0):
        self.fuel_remaining= fuel_remaining-(length*0.125)

You have laps as a default parameter in your run_lap() method. Every time you call the method without a parameter you're settings laps back to 0.

Remove the run_laps() parameter and add a new attribute: laps

Your class should look like this.

class RaceCar:
    def __init__(self,color,fuel_remaining,**kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        self.laps = 0 # Set laps to 0 when RaceCar is initialised

        for key , value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining - (length * 0.125)
        self.laps += 1 # Increment the race car's laps by one.
