HTML HTML Forms Choosing Options Create a Select Menu

HTML Forms Challenge: Add 6 color options to select menu & set value attributes to the same words in lowercase.

Here's my HTML code: <select id="color" name="shirt_color"> <option value="red">Red</option> <option value="yellow">Yellow</option> <option value="purple">Purple</option> <option value="blue">Blue</option> <option value="green">Green</option> <option value="orange">Orange</option> </select>

What part of my HTML code is incorrect?

Are you on Step 2 of the Code Challenge?

Yes, I'm on the 2nd question on the Code Challenge & I got the "Bummer!" message twice. I originally capitalized the 1st word & then wrote the same word in lowercase letters. Then I switched them to lowercase 1st, then capitalized the same word. Either way, I got the same "Bummer!" message. I'm stumped.

It actually also passes for me as well when I copy pasta your code.

Thanks. However, either way I write the words, whether the 1st word is capitalized & then the 2nd time it's lowercase or vise versa, I still get the "Bummer!" message. I'm stumped.

I would refresh the page and start over. It should work, because your code is correct.

Maybe try starting the code challenge over from scratch? The code you put up there looks like it should work fine. Maybe it's just a glitch or something...
