I am getting an error message that reads make sure you set the background color to lightblue I have the code as...

You are very close here.

The question only asks you to set the lightblue background to the div element, you seem to have gotten your selector a little confused as you were using "#primary content background div" as your selector all the question was asking for is the selector of "div".

  color: white;
}

div { 
  background-color: lightblue; 
}

The point asks you to target the div, you can do this just by targeting 'div' in the CSS rather than the '#primary content background' you have before div in your selector.
