I am having a hard time under standing the challenge (Create a new int variable that is named answer. Store the integer)

I am having a hard time under standing this challenge(Create a new int variable that is named answer. Store the integer version of answerToLife in it.) can some one help?

Hi Andrew,

In this exercise, we have to use Integer.parseInt(). Integer.parseInt() is used to convert a String to an integer.

This is how Interger.parseInt() is used for this exercise:

String answerToLife = "42";
int answer = Integer.parseInt(answerToLife);
