I am not getting the right count with the following code

I am on the date section and I a not getting the right count with the following code:

SELECT COUNT(*) AS "shipped_today" FROM orders WHERE status = DATE("now")

Can you please tell me where I am going wrong?

I was confused with this question as well and I had to try a few different things before I got it.

To get the correct count, the status column needs to equal 'shipped_today' and the ordered_on column needs to equal today's date. (You had the correct syntax for getting today's date.)

I hope that helps without giving away the answer! :)

Correction to my previous post!

status needs to equal 'shipped' not 'shipped_today'

Thanks Michelle - very confusing wording in the question.

That worked! Thank you for your help.

Awesome!
