The method drive is not correct but logically i can't seem to understand why
class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String color;
private int barCount;
private int lapsDriven;
public GoKart(String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
public void charge() {
barCount = MAX_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return barCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return MAX_BARS == barCount;
}
public void drive() {
drive(1);
}
public void drive(int laps) {
if (lapsDriven > 8 ){
throw new IllegalArgumentException("Too many laps");
}
barCount -= laps;
lapsDriven += laps;
}
}

231,248 PointsIt looks like this code is throwing an exception when the total laps driven exceed 8. But the instructions say, "Add logic to the drive method so that it throws an IllegalArgumentException if there aren't enough bars to support the laps request."
So the exception won't be related to the total laps at all. Instead, you'll need to test the laps
argument against the bar count to determine when to throw the exception.

1,124 PointsI don't understand.
I'm getting this error
Bummer: Make sure you throw a new IllegalArgumentException if the requested amount of laps would make the battery less than zero.

231,248 PointsThe current code throws the exception when the total laps driven goes over 8, so you need to modify your test to check if the requested laps is more than the battery bars.
