I don't understand what i am required to do.

I'm not sure what they want me to do. I get the desired output using the array variables but i may not be doing it correctly. Can someone explain this a little more please.

index.php
<?php
//edit this array
$contacts[] = array('name' => 'Alena Holligan', 'email' =>'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com');
$contacts[] = array('name' => 'Dave McFarland', 'email' =>'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com');
$contacts[] = array('name' => 'Treasure Porth', 'email' =>'treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com');
$contacts[] = array('name' =>  'Andrew Chalkley', 'email' =>'andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com');
echo "<ul>\n";

//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.
echo "<li>" . $contacts[0]['name'] . " :  " . $contacts[0]['email'] . " </li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[1]['name'] . " :  " . $contacts[1]['email'] . " </li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[2]['name'] . " :  " . $contacts[2]['email'] . " </li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[3]['name'] . " :  " . $contacts[3]['email'] . " </li>\n";
echo "</ul>\n";

Hi Luis,

It looks like you've changed the output slightly from what was originally there.

You have 2 spaces after the colon but there should only be 1. Also, you've added a space before all the closing li tags which didn't exist before.

Try making those changes and see if you pass.

You are right!! Thank you so much Jason. I had no idea spaces could be a problem. I will be more careful next time. Thank you so much again. (thumbs up)
