it says task 1 is no longer passing
I don't know what I need to do
class Inventory:
def __init__(self):
self.slots = []
def add_item(self, item):
self.slots.append(item)
SortedInventory
class SortedInventory(Inventory,item):
def add_item(self, item):
super().add_item(item)
self.slots.sort()

- you have 'SortedInventory' inside the
Inventory
class in theadd_item
method. I'm not sure what this is for but the super class shouldn't have any knowledge classes that inherit from it - in the
SortedInventory
class, you haveitem
in the list of classes that it inherits from. This is throwing an error, item isn't defined here.
Other than that, your code works:
class Inventory:
def __init__(self):
self.slots = []
def add_item(self, item):
self.slots.append(item)
# removed "SortedInventory"
class SortedInventory(Inventory): # removed "item"
def add_item(self, item):
super().add_item(item)
self.slots.sort()
