i got the output "my name is Eugene Lee" on the screeen. but grading SW said it wrong "bummer". i got obfusticated.

Your program is technically correct but it doesn't answer what is asked in that task!

It says:

Call the printf method on the console object and make it write out "<YOUR NAME> can code in Java!"

So your output has to look like this:

String firstName = "Your Name";
System.out.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);
