2,481 PointsI need help on this exercise.
I'm in the Object-Oriented python course and the exercise said I have to create a method which takes a "grade" argument along with a "self" one. And then if the grade is bigger than 50 then proceed another method above, if i's not, proceed something else below it. Here's what I got so far but it didnt work. Can somebody explain a bit more what's going on to me? Thanks a bunch!!!
class Student:
name = "Your Name"
def praise(self):
return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)
def reassurance(self):
return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)
def feedback(grade, self):
if grade > 50:
praise(self)
else:
reassurance(self)

- the "self" parameter should be the first one listed
- the system implicitly includes "self" for you in a call, you don't need to pass it as an argument
- when referencing internal methods, you need to prefix the method name with "
self.
" - "feedback" needs to return the result of calling the other methods
