2,663 PointsI tried to change the front colors when I was editing the CSS. It doesn't seem to be working. What should I do?
I changed a few of the colors to other hexadecimal color codes that I found. In the code, it appeared as though the colors registered, because they show the actual color as I go over them with the cursor. I refreshed a few times but the colors have not changed from the original on the webpage. What am I doing wrong?

2,663 PointsI'm just editing the pre-existing code on workspaces. I'm trying to change the color of the top bar from the original purple to this: /*********************************************** Top bar color ***********************************************/
html { border-top: 20px solid #5F9EA0; }

15,619 PointsI'm still not entirely sure what you mean or what you're trying to do, but all child elements of the HTML(parent element) will overwrite the default colors in your HTML. Does this make sense?

15,619 PointsAre you changing the colors in the developer console or in your code? If you change the colors in the console and hit refresh, it will automatically revert back to the original document. Also, it will be easier to see what is going on if you paste a snippet of your code.
