1 - issues with indentation need to be addressed the run_lap() method needs to be outdented by 4
2 -The laps variable needs to referenced to the self object
class RaceCar:
laps = 0
def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
self.color = color
self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
for key, value in kwargs.items():
setattr(self, key, value)
def run_lap(self, length):
self.fuel_remaining = self.fuel_remaining - (0.125*self.length)
self.laps += 1 # fix here
Also note, on part 3 of the challenge, they will ask you to change the laps from a class variable to an instance variable. I will leave that to you to figure out.
