I want to print a String called firstName. String firstName = "Jake" ; console.printf("%s can code in Java!");

I cannot print a String

String firstName = "Jake" ; console.printf("%s can code in Java!");

Name.java 
String firstName = "Jake" ;
console.printf("%s can code in Java!");

Hey Jake. In order for the compiler to understand what String to use, you need to specify it.

String firstName = "Jake" ;
console.printf("%s can code in Java!");

to

String firstName = "Jake" ;
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);
