If we're not going for a certificate, why not have hits that move us along?

I hate that some points when you get the wrong answer you are left floating nowhere to keep guessing what the answer is. And why no hints? Khan Academy has already created an awesome lecture structure.

I also have a suggestion to improve this cool platform (and thousands around the world). Why not have a solid bar that runs the length of the course with tiny lines representing tags or meta data/keywords. Once your do a search for those keywords or just hover over the master progress bar (like we do in a movie player but unlike a movie player) have all the tags or key words or meta data that is in that region, pop up in a little bubble near the cursor. When we find the region of the course with the keywords we're looking for, we click there to start playing exactly what we're looking for.

It's been a while, but according to this other post it looks like a mechanism to give hints got implemented!

Hi Alex, sometimes there are hints, sometimes not. Sometimes the hints are better than others. Sometimes I find them of no use at all. I like your idea for the search function. Although I have to say, I feel like we get an awful lot for what we pay. Maybe you can design the search function for them :D It would look great on your resume.

Thanks man. That could be an interesting goal. Still don't believe I'm a good enough programmer to make that, but it would be pushing my boundaries.
