3,612 PointsI'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong.
I tried initially with:
SELECT DISTINCT (genre), COUNT (genre) AS genre_count
FROM books
ORDER BY genre;
but then i noticed the blank row under the genre section so i tried it again with the code that is attached that doesn't count the NULL
row. What else am I doing wrong?

3,612 Pointsnevermind, i figured it out. What it should've been:
SELECT genre, COUNT(*) AS genre_count FROM books GROUP BY genre;
i forgot that the COUNT(*) with the asterisk means it uses the entire database to count with.
