There are two issues with your code. The first issue is that in Java strings are written with a capital S, and having the right capitalization is necessary when you are programming. The second issue is that you need to put string values (like your name in this instance) in between quote marks, if you don't then Java will have no idea what it is you're trying to reference.

So to continue you need to change your code so that it looks like this:

String firstName= "osman"; // S in string capitalized, osman surrounded by quote marks.
